This site came about due to one man… Martin Ridge……… After reading his book he made me face my own abuse as a child… And to talk to others about it… And it inspired me and a group of other women who were either abused or had children who have been abused to join forces an do something positive.
Suffering from any form of abuse as a child has such a dettrimental effect on your life… It is hard to overcome those feelings of shame and hurt… But we can…… It takes small steps lots of them backwards but slowly we can move forwards… Each individual who has suffered abuse have to find their own path …. And many never find this path and they fall never to get back up…………..
That’s tragic……….
People need a helping hand to deal with abuse… Everyone who suffers abuse has a voice lets use it to educate adults on the signs… To make society today see that keeping silent aids these abusers to abuse… To make society face the reality that its everyones responsibility to prevent these people from abusing all our children…. Teach society to listen so they can hear every voice who speaks ….. Dont be ashamed to talk about our abuse……..
Our mission is saving children from child sex abuse and supporting survivors of child sex abuse. We also aim to educate and teach as many people as we can of the continuing abuse of children, the effects of child abuse and why it is important for each and every one of us to start taking some positive action preventing these crimes and why they’re support is so vital to succeed.
Our aim is to offer support, give advice and guidance and friendship. We can help victims take the first steps to break free and disclose their abuse. No-one understands an abused child better than an abused adult. We will help in any way that we can to support with each step they take, no matter how small those steps may be. Contacting us through the web site is the first step, it is the hardest step. It is also vital for us to be able to stay in contact and we can also arrange confidential meetings if requested.
Our aim is to build a life long support network to victims and their families. Help them re-build their lives, their confidence, their self-worth.
Our aim is to give them their voice back through the website without fear and without shame.

Geoff, To be caught in “That moment” of time and not being able to let go is very harrowing. Your hurt must be validated and listened to. Forgiveness is a love I believe, to forgive yourself that this is not your fault. One has to affirm that love of that seed of truth, will hopefully set you free. Don’t let that shroud of hurt forever hold you on that ledge. Healing will occur I believe when revealing takes place in a zone that you are understood. May you find peace and solace.

as I was abused when I was 12,I am now 59,and going through the pain of going to court to get justice.It doesnt get any easier.Thankyou for your help,at least your page is here for me.
Geoff, we understand your pain… To let the 12yr old boys voice be heard in court takes true courage and strength… Stay strong on your journey for justice..
