Has anyone been the victim of a principal in Scoil Colmcille, Letterkenny?
i would like 2 say im a survivor of incestal child abuse but im not surviving as my abuser is still walking the streets due 2 lack of evidence! perhaps the cps should sit in a room with me and my 3 sisters and see the 4 lives ruined perhaps that mite be evidence enough! we lost our innocence and now our faith as well and all 4 nothing!!!
my daughter was the victim of a man who married into the family,the cps decided she had a case and it took 18 months for the trial..at the trial just about all the evidence wasnt allowed to be used and guess what..the man walked free!!!!we are now left to cope with the aftermath,and help my daughter .the legal system doesnt give a damn.like you said we have lost all faith in the system that allowed him to walk free and my daughter to feel the guilty one,where is the justice in that !!

The catholic faith destroyed my family. Dad brought mum over from belgium at the end of the war, she catholic, he c of e. First four children christened into catholic faith, final three into c of e aft incidents in the catholic school my younger brother and i attended. I would always be told by nuns that myself and my siblings were all bastards and our parents were living in sin and we would burn in hell, they even turned up at home one day when i was alone with mum and said it to her. After an abuse incident with an irish female teacher one day against my brother, we were all taken away from catholic schools, and the following three siblings were c of e, you can imagine how dysfunctional such a mixed faith family was to become.
